    Our New 220 Team Edition!

Well guys, after the long wait and constant shopping around, we finally decided on a boat. We take delivery of it on Saturday morning. Black with Vapor Blue SAN 220 Team Edition with the ZR 6.0 Engine. Its a sweet boat, but its going to be SOO tempting to go wakeboarding behind it. Breaking it in is going to be painful! Let me know what you guys think!

    Jonathan

        Beautiful boat!!!

As for the break-in...I say...don't worry about it too much. My dealer told me to use it like I normally would - that is the best way to break it in. Just don't run full throttle for more than about 20 seconds.

yeah, the only problem I see with it, is basically wakeboarding requires you to be at a constant rpm. being that the boat is new, you must vary the rpms, 10 seconds high, 10 seconds low, so on and so forth. reason being, the engines parts have to adjust to both frequencies, high and low. That way, regardless of speed and rpm, the boat will be well balanced. just my take. some say, "dude let it rip right when you get it, drive it like you stole it" haha i try to take the easier approach, just like my car, break it in for 1000 miles, then rip that sucker.
