First ever Nautique owner here. Went with the anthracite metal flake on the outside with a black hull bottom. We got the tower because it's our only boat besides for an 18ft pontoon with a 40 hp which isn't enough if we ever want to pull tubers or anything else. Primarily a ski boat for us through the course we have on the lake but we will also have friends in it too. The tower will allow us to do those other activities with people in the back. Switched from Mastercraft. Had an 01 prostar 190 and then an 08 prostar 197 40th anniversary edition (i loved that boat). Good news is my buddy on my lake ended up buying my 08 so it won't ever be far from home and i'll still get to see it and use it
.
Decided to go with Nautique this time around for a couple reasons. Number one being the dealer. The nautique dealer is closer to us than the MC dealer. I also have a close friend who put in a good word to the dealer. Also, they are a family owned dealership and us being a family owned car dealership are big on those things. The other part is that the dealer treated us extremely well. The MC dealer when i talked to them had somewhat of a "yeah we have MC and we're the best so whatever" attitude. The second part is that we actually favored the design of the 200 over the prostar. While i have nothing bad to say about MC, it just worked out that Nautique ended up fitting us better all around. Excited to have a great first year with my first ever brand new boat
