The club had a lot on the River Canard in La Salle about a 1/4 mile upstream from the Detroit River. The river ran through some wetlands and was about 3' deep where the course was set up. That boat was perfect for the for the low water, we never hit anything with it and the wake was near non existent. Whatever wake was created was quickly soaked up by the wetlands on either side. You could run back to back sets and have zero chop from the previous set. Best slalom water and pull from a boat I've ever had. Only thing close was skiing behind a 16' Checkmate with a 150HP Mercury Black Max for lack of wake behind the boat however you could pull that boat around easily when cutting.

As someone who owned a S&S Mastercraft....I can attend that boat had about zero wake. I don't think it weighed much at all and it was basically a flat bottom. Total kidney crusher in choppy water.2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)
1997 Masters Edition Nautique - Zephyr Green - gone (amazing ski wake)
1982 Mastercraft Powerslot - gone (a primitive but wonderful beast)
