Finally bought a boat after years of wanting one!!! My mother in law wasn’t using it anymore and had no plans to, so gave us a deal on it! Super excited! I put it in the shop and had some, basically, routine maintenance done to it. I took it out for the first time, mind you I am 100% new to boating, and messed the prop up. Well, besides that, I find that none of the gauges work and the stereo doesn’t work. Also, the check engine light is on, but the boat ran well. Fast forward a few weeks, I have a new prop on the boat and the old one is being repaired as a spare. Now I am looking at getting the Guages and stereo to work. Can’t wait to take it out again!!!

Very cool boat! It is probably going to need a gateway bypass to get the gauges working again, and the check engine light is either due to the oil pressure SWITCH (not sensor) or the temperature SWITCH (not sensor) failing. If it isn't running hot, and the oil pressure is OK, it is just one of the switches that has failed. If the boat has sat for a while, be sure to change the impeller. It may actually be running hot, and that would trip the CEL. Get those gauges working!

Also, the 226 is not a Super Air Nautique. Not sure why, but they were just never marketed that way. What you have there is an Air Nautique 226.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. Thank you so much for that NautiqueJeff! The impeller was replaced for sure. It’s been racking my brain on why all Guages are not working, but that link explained it very well. I will look into that and those two switches. Thank you for explaining the Super Air name, as well.

Here's some info on the two switches:
Only two things can activate the check engine light. One is an overheat condition being sensed, and one is a low oil pressure condition being sensed. If you really are experiencing either of those conditions, you need to figure out why. Sometimes the switches that control the CEL fail though, and activate limp mode even though there is no real issue. This would cause your gauges to read normal readings, but the switches for the SLOW system are signaling a problem, even though there is none. These switches are SEPARATE from the sensors for the gauges.
My bet is that the oil pressure switch has failed. You can disconnect the wire from that switch, and that should allow you to run the boat normally until you can get a new switch. It may also be the water temperature switch, and same deal with that, just disconnect the wire until you can get a new one and the boat will run fine.
Here's the oil pressure switch:

Here's the water temperature switch:
https://www.nautiqueparts.com/produc...-mpi-r020014a/
We're talking about the SLOW system here. See diagram below.
These are the ONLY things that can trigger the CEL. Nothing else can do it.
This diagram is from a GT-40, so it won't match your engine, but the parts above are correct, and the general info below is correct.

Looks awesome and more images, please! And congrats on your boat ownership! Have to admit, I have far more appreciation for well-loved and nostalgic rigs than the brand new ones.'08 Super Air Nautique 210

Thanks!!! Yeah, the older ones definitely have a sweet look still. I’ve got it back in the shop for the check engine light, gauges and radio. I have a gateway bypass on order and the water temp and oil switch already. Hopefully I can get this thing on the water soon! Good thing I’m in Texas, as my water season lasts a good amount of time.
