Just bought my first Nautique

After two months of searching I finally purchased my first Nautique. It is an 89 Ski Nautique. I found it on the boattrader.com sight. I called the guy a couple of hours after he posted it and after listening to what he had to say about the boat, we struck a deal and I drove almost 400 miles to pick it up on Sunday. The boat is in near mint condition with only 303 hours. He was the second owner and he knew the first owner. It has been garaged its whole life which is evident by looking at the interior and carpet, they look beautiful. I checked the boat over thoroughly, compression check, floors, fiberglass, everything was perfect. I open the garage up just to look at it and can't believe I finally own one. I can't wait to get this boat up to my cottage and start putting some hours on that hour meter. I want to thank everyone who responded to my post, it gave me a lot of information which really helped. It feels great to be a part of the Nautique family.

The power plus trans reverses the regular rotation coming from the engine, so the prop still spins the same direction as all CC's.
