Well, I am glad that the trailer is single axle because I have a tight maneuver into my garage. My dealer assured me that single axle was sufficient for this boat. Getting into the garage is a little bit of work since we must drop the tower and pop the swim platform off. Definitely a two person job.
Ground clearance with the back of the trailer has not been a problem. It easily clears the 4 inch lip in the back of my garage and does not hit the curb when I pulll out of my driveway. I think the pic above makes it look much lower than it actually is on a flat surface.

Probably... cuz the trailer my family's old '82 ski bottoms out just over a little hump, and it appears that the prop guard back then (its an '88 trailer) is a lot higher off the ground then they are today... and it only looks to be 6 in. at most off the ground...I Nautique, therefore I am.

JMark and 04SuperAir. Do either of you guys ride on weekdays. I keep my SAN in Keystone Heights so I only get to use it on weekends when we go to the lake. However, I am looking for some people to go out with on weekday evenenings. If you guys are interested let me know.

Yes, there was an added charge for painting the trailer. I am not sure now how much, but I believe it was around $350. Of course, every deal has different areas of give and take between the dealer and buyer...
I am a little anxious to see how the paint holds up over the long run. I dip my trailer in salt water so check back in a year or two!
I was assured that the trailer was galvanized, but I didn't ask about the wheels specifically....
