About to be new Super Air Nautique 210 TE owner.

Hey guys, just found this forum and wanted to say hey. I owned a 92 Prostar 205 before it got stolen and found the mastercraft forum to be quite helpful so I'm hoping this place will be the same.

I haven't bought the boat yet but I have a contract. Just waiting for it to be done getting detailed, oil/transmission fluid changed, etc. It's a 2004 Super Air Nautique 210 TE with all the fixings. Only 210 hours. I got it for $39500. I looked around and this appeared to be around $3-5k less than all the others. I was just wondering what fellow Nautique owners thought.

Great looking boat. I too have an 04 and I love it. Mine is the LE option. You will not be dissappointed in it.
This site is great for all of your nautique questions.
Jeff who runs this site has a lot of knowledge as well as it other members.
When I purchased mine my dealer told me to look up this site.
I have really been impress with it.

Once again welcome to the nautique family.

Well for starters congratulations on buying one of the best wakeboarding boats ever made.

If you are wondering why it is slightly less, and please don't take this the wrong way, but the guesses I would offer are the yellow color and the fact that the 2004 was an off year because of the unpopular tower design change that was quickly reversed in 2005 (I am referring to the bend above the windshield).

People who buy the off colors and acute color combo boats are rolling the dice for sure - but in the end they wind up with something unique. I'm just surprised that i see as many all yellow, and all lime green boats for sale one or two years after their date of manufacture as I do. You'd think that if you insisted on ordering a boat with a color combo like that you'd be ready to deal with the resale hit by way of not selling it... That seems to not be the case though.

Again though - who cares really? It is a yellow boat with a tower that wasn't very well received (due to aesthetics - not quality - your tower is a good and strong one it just was a change from an extremely popular design and it went over like a lead balloon). You're getting a boat that puts out a better wake than boats that cost twice as much.

If you like yellow - even better! In my opinion, 2004's being available at under 40k is a great thing.

Congratulations - I happen to think the boat looks phenomenal.

I think he got it for slightly less just because he happened on a great deal. I think that while yellow may not be quite as prevalent a color for watersports boats, it definitely has significant long-term representation amongst other types of boats. Now lime green I'm not so sure of.

Great looking ride and congrats on your new purchase!!

Phil got you a great deal on that boat. He was telling me about it last weekend.

Just got back from picking up the boat! It is even more and better than I imagined. Just can't wait for April to roll around. Phil was great help up there. I stopped to get gas and two people told me nice boat while I was waiting. Felt pretty good. I know this is minimal but he gave me a couple of nice shirts to advertise for them, life jackets, throwing cushion, and a load of nautique stickers. It's not anything big but it sure does look good on their part. I will definately do business with those guys again.

                      I'll post pics tomorrow.

according to new market researh yellow is the new red for sports high performance cars, boats, etc. so maybe it will be the new classic color.

still a TE SAN at that price and low hours is a great deal regardless of what they say about the yellow. I think it looks sweet.
I bought my 2002 SAN in 2005 for about same price. it was not a TE. best boat i've ridden behind or drove, and all my friends are jealous.

                        Nice buy, good luck
