I would never recommend Brent Flemming or cover sports to anyone. I have used Cory at Evolution covers and he is great as well as professional and timely. The exact opposite of evolution covers.

That's your opinion and you're more than entitled to it, but I have had an excellent experience with Brent at Coversports and would not hesitate to recommend them to someone looking for a cover. Mine has performed perfectly while towing and in weather since receiving it.

Well let me tell you my recent experience. I ordered a cover from him, I was told he knew the pattern for the 2014 models. I was told I would have it by the end of June...no problem. I will admit I was in a hurry for the cover so I asked him a few times towards the end of June how it was going.....I was then informed that he wouldn't have my cover done until after the 5th because he had a 14' 230 coming in and he could measure it. He asked me if I would measure mine....I started to go down that road and I just didn't feel comfortable it would be the correct fit. The very next morning I asked to cancel my order....no hard feeling.

i couldn't get a hold of him all day....no email no phone etc. I then got a generic voicemail and it had me concerned so I asked for a refund through Paypal just stating the cover wasn't going to be something that would work for me as I would need a perfect fit and I wasn't confident that it would be that way.

Finally that day I got ahold of Brent, he was very rude and stated they are now out of business because I cancelled my cover. Again, he said he already had the pattern for this.....I said I did apologize I was just not comfortable with the way it was going and I would rather go another route....he then refused any refund even though I asked him several time to do so....he stated he didn't know how to work Paypal.....really? You run a business that takes Paypal as payment....if you don't know how to work it....well. Finally he had someone refund my payment, which was actually declined because he didnt have enough funds in the account. Finally I got Paypal to side with me since I never received anything from my payment yesterday to refund my money. I am sorry, I run a small business as well and if $400 worth of material....and that is being generous somehow puts you out of business...you shouldn't be in business anyways. Furthermore, if he did order the sunbrella ahead of time....just use the sunbrella on the 8 other covers he told me on the phone he couldn't afford to finish because I cancelled my order. I don't feel bad for him at all, he needs to learn to run a business and communicate with people or go out of business which he stated he was now. I am sure that was a guilt trip to make me keep my order too.....what a joke. I would rather throw my money down the toilet than give it to him.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience and some of what you said were my concerns before ordering, but I never had any poor dealings with Brent. I read a bunch about him being tech impaired and agree that he should find someone to handle that end of his business for him. It would benefit his business for him and his customers greatly.

Your boat being new I'm surprised Nautique doesn't offer a towable weather-proof cover from the factory. Anyway, hope you get a cover your pleased with.

So what's the gripe with Sharkskin covers? I have one I never used but once or twice and was debating on selling it as my boat is stored in my garage.

Thought I'd chip in on an old topic since I just got a cover and used this site for research. I got a Sundura from White Lake for my "new to me" 03 SANTE. Price was very reasonable and I used the Planet Nautique discount code which made it even better. Turned out to be a Carver cover which I didn't realize until I received it. I love the Sundura material as it is much lighter than the old Sunbrella cover that came with the boat.

Unfortunately I have the boat in a garage for winter now but I tried it on and the fit is great. It has two reinforced areas where I already added Boat Vent III's. There are also reinforcements for the windshield and ski pylon. When I installed the boat vents, I tried to tear the little circle of extra cover material I cut out and it would not tear even if you started the cut with scissors. Impressive.

I will be using this primarily as a mooring cover for my boat on a lift. My only complaint is that it came with ropes to cinch the cover around the boat. I already removed them and replaced with 1 inch nylon strap and plastic snap buckles that will not touch the boat because they are enclosed in the velcro area between the tower legs. They stretch less, cinch tighter, and are generally much easier to work with than the ropes that came with the cover. $15 or so at Amazon for 100 ft of the stuff and buckles. I got the idea from a local canvas company for a custom cover I had made for my last boat.

As long as I get 5-7 years out of it I will be thrilled.

I have a Carver cover that I bought for my 2004 SN 196LE. Cover fits great, Sunbrella fabric, breathes, I has held up very well under my covered dock, I couldn't ask for a better cover.

I made the mistake of not doing my research on this guy Brent Fleming. Reached out to him a few weeks ago to get a cover for my nautique. He said it would be a few months for the color I wanted or I could buy one he had in stock for my boat.

So I sent him $565 to get the in stocks cover. Have been getting the runaround from him since. From, I got covid to now the shipping is too high. I just want my money back at this point but he has since ghosted me and I have no recourse. BEWARE OF COVER SOURCE INTERNATIONAL. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM.

Sorry to hear that. He made one for me two years ago. He was slow (as I expected) but usually responsive. I do love the cover. I hope that you get everything resolved!

JBird97Nautique sorry to hear that you're dealing with that. I too had a pretty poor experience with him that I documented in another thread here. I'm still waiting on some missing parts for my cover that he still hasn't sent, but every few weeks he'll email me asking what my address is to ship it to. I send my address and then I receive/hear nothing until 3+ weeks later and he'll ask all over again. I know many folks here have had okay or fine experiences with him and the covers he makes really seem top notch, but I personally wouldn't order from him again given the many months of headaches, excuses, and radio silence from him.

Cover received. Fits like a glove. It was an "In Stock" cover but it did look like it was a little used or had been sitting on the floor of a garage. Anyway I am just glad I got my cover what a nerve wracking experience. Would not deal with that idiot again and spend the few extra hundred for some customer service.

Glad to hear! I'm sure the experience sucked, but if it's anything like my cover, you'll love it.
