    G23 cover for trailering

I have a 2014 G23 with the cover from Nautique that is supposed to be suitable for trailering

However the seems that Velcro together on the tower always come loose

    Anybody seen any better options.

Had they made this cover with zippers instead of Velcro it would be perfect

Yep, despite the multiple claims you'll hear on here, it's not a good cover for trailering at 70mph.

the Velcro on the sides will release.

and the zippers that go through the tower holes will flap around and scratch and damage the paint.

with the Velcro coming loose, it introduces slack in the rest of it and it will sandpaper the gel on your gunnels.

i've been begging Cory at Evolution Covers to spec one for our Gs. He does mostly Malibus but his covers are the best. Truly a highway trailerable 5-10yr cover that requires no poles or supports, uses loops up to the tower to prevent water pooling.

Do you think he would make one for us? I would buy one for sure.

Also, I have. 2014 G23 450. How much difference do you notice with the 550.

I talked to him about a year ago and he still had no access to a G to measure and fit in Oregon.

Ability to carry an extra ~1000-1500lbs, or ~7-8 seconds 0-23 with 2850lbs OEM ballast vs 13seconds on yours with a 2315 prop.

Im interested to see how the 2:1 17" prop 550 Gs perform.

Is there anyone in the Seattle/Everett WA area that could get a G23 to Evolution to pattern???
If so, please contact Cory at info@evolutioncovers.com Thanks!
