Alright this may be controversial or sacrilege but I'm considering having a bow/cockpit tonneau cover made for my G23 with snaps (the horror).
My boat lives at our dock (no lift) with mooring whips. It is a PIA to tie it up with a mooring cover. (lines off, hold the dock, put cover over cleats, pass lines through cover. becomes dicey in a stiff breeze). My cover comes on and off A LOT. Sometimes multiple times a day. With a tonneau cover the boat can be fully tied up and the cover can put put on front to back easily and exit via swim deck. It also gives the options of leaving the front on during the colder season.
I had this setup on my 04 210 and it worked out very nicely. I never had any waxing/cracking/splitting issues with the snaps (other than filling the snap with wax).
Wondering if anyone has done it and has pics.
