G23 cover question

I have a 2014 G23 with the Nautique companies bet that has the Velcro seem down the sides of the tower. It is supposedly appropriate for trailering but the Velcro always comes lose.

Is anyone know if it is possible t have the Velcro replaced with zippers.

OR. Is there anyone that could make a custom cover with zippers?

Wow, I have towed thousands of miles with the factory cover, and I have never had the velcro come loose. Maybe over time the velcro becomes less stable.

I would think any upholstery shop could remove the velcro and replace it with zippers, but be sure they add some padding behind the zippers or you'll get scratches in the gelcoat.

I keep hearing mixed opinions on towing with and without the cover on. Not really sure which one is the best?? I really like the idea of towing with a cover to keep the inside clean, but don't want to worry about scratching or hurting the gel coat. Any thoughts??

On my 2014 G25 I had 3 straps with clips sewed on the sides to prevent it from coming apart. Never had a problem after that. I just purchased a 2016 G23 last summer and haven't done that to my new cover or I would send you pictures. I plan on doing that soon.

The Zippers will scratch the paint off the tower and the cover will sandpaper the gunnels.

don't use the cover over 45.

THIS!!! The zipper on one side came lose, flapped and chipped a 2 inch round circle of paint off my tower.

Agree with the above, I have a small spot on the tower where the cover rubbed the white paint off. Does anyone know the paint color code for the white on a 2013 G23?

If you find out the paint code for the white tower please post it. My chip from the cover flapping is on a white portion.

This is what I was told on the color, but rep at SW is having trouble identifying the product saying that the code is a combination of two products.

The color is silver cloud.

The Sherwin Williams paint number is G2A-367-83-249549
