2skidoo: I have my Nautique under a canopy but, like you, terrible pollen in the spring. I bought a cheap oversized boat cover (around $130 @ Bass Pro - cheaper online) that easily covers my entire boat with the tower down. I only attach It at the bow and the 2 rear corners then it lays loose over the boat. Takes literally less than 2 minutes to put on and remove and no more pollen.

My tower is too heavy to go up and down...so i hang mesh tarp around my lift....it keeps birds out, and has to rain pretty hard to get thru...not a perfect solution but works for me. you climb in and then at the end where you pull boat in and out just use some cheap carabiner clips to open and clip back to the sides. Good airflow prevents mildew.

I definitely like the stern skirt. For the money I'll order one and see how it goes.

                    Keep the ideas coming!!

                        Jeff,

Do you mind me asking what that type of cover costs? Did you have to take measurements and have it custom made?

Sewlong Covers out of Utah made it. They have most Nautique schematics on file so they were able to make from that. If you buy it in the offseason when they aren't busy usually around $1600. Otherwise $1750ish. It's a seriously heavy duty cover. Takes me about a minute to get it on and tightened up now that I've had practice.

Mine is similar and I ordered it from Dallas Canvas. They have nautique templates. $1400-$1800 depending on material used and options. I got the zip door so you can get into the boat without uncovering it.

How much do they weigh? And where do you store them while boating? How about a picture of the one from Dallas Canvas? Thanks.
