Towing with cover question

Fot those that tow with the factory cover, do you use the anti-pooling poles as well? I typically don't tow with a cover and prior vacu-hold covers I've used don't have the pole system. Thanks for your input.

I always tow with the cover on . I bought a triangle shaped towable and place it upside down in the bow no poles in the back . I had trouble with the factory ratchet strap staying on at 70 and a head wind . So I had my wife [ who works at a cover shop ] sew on straps three on the side and two on the back. The key to damage free towing with the cover on is to make it as tight as possible any movement may cause scuffs to the gel.

Tow with factory cover up to 80-85 mph on hill descent with wind in the back, no pole, no issue whatsoever.

I always tow with the cover on, and yes, I keep the poles in place. If you don't, the cover will flap around.

I have my boat all ready to go on a 7-hour round trip to White Lake Marine and back tomorrow.

Maybe you have the poles in place because you tow with the tower down. I tow with tower up, cover on, no pole, and the cover is not moving nor anything happen on a G21. Or maybe the G23 is different.
