    Mooring with Angola cover

Looking for a little advice with my cover. Right now I currently put my boat in the water Friday night, and leave it until Sunday. If there is rain in the forecast I pull it out and trailer it with my cover. My issue is that rain comes out of no where sometimes. I want to put Velcro flaps on my new cover so I can have access to my cleats. My current cover is on its last leg. It is 100% cotton. My new cover I have coming is the exact same cover in black poly. The cover goes around the platform so that would be on the water line. How will this affect the cover ? Would you guys be comfortable doing this?

I asked the same question (for my Angola cover for my 95 Sport) before and got some suggestions to just fit it like that and not worry about it getting wet others thought that was a bad idea.

Alternatively you can add straps and/or snaps to the back to hold the cover down without covering the platform. Staps could be built to attach to the grab handle or under the platform to hold the cover down at the back. Snaps could be added to the bottom of the rub rail so you wouldn't have to add snaps to the boat.

I'd suggest trying it as it was built and see how it goes.

Thanks for reply. It would only be for a few nights I suppose. So
once I pulled the boat out it would dry out properly. I'll see what Angola recommends also.
