Sewlong Bimini Top for G Series - Long Term Feedback?

I'm looking for people that have the Sewlong Bimini on a G series that has used them for a while now. I have a '18 G23 on order and I bought it without a factory bimini because I don't like the center coverage all the time. I know the cover is a hassle but I don't use a bimini that often and when I do, it's typically up for several days.

Can anyone chime in with their experience?

One question I have is that when it is folded up it looks like it's really far back...just hanging in space. Can you slide the tubing forward when not in use to make it look any better.

Also, they offer two different sizes. Considering I don't use it that much, it seems like the smaller one would be fine.

What about colors? Has anyone done anything other than black. My boat will be white, Admiral blue and gray. I'm thinking a blue top or a gray top. My tower is blue, so maybe a gray top.

Crickets...I'm starting to think no one is using this Bimini...hmmm.

I also worry that the rope will rub against the Bimini. I have that problem no on my 230 and it's starting to be an issue.

I have a Sewlong Bimini for 2017 G21 that we cannot use because of our hoist. We would be interested in selling it.

I have a Sewlong Bimini on my 2018 G21. Love the coverage and setup is easy. My boat is gunmetal flake admiral blue, and the bimini matches the tungsten grey accent color of the interior. It hangs over the back of the tower which provides more shade, but on a G21 you have to duck to get under it when climbing in and out of the back. Shouldn’t be an issue on a G23. You cannot slide the mount forward when it’s folded up. Hope this helps.
