    Swim Platform Cover

Some of you may have ordered a cover direct from Nautique, if you haven’t...check out this cover from Evolution Covers. Cory, who custom made this one is fantastic and works extremely fast! It fits super snug and he can design it exactly how you want it. Top notch guy, product and company!!

Good to know because the stock platform cover is a bear to put on. it was so tight I just purchased a stern skirt on to help protect fading vs a platform cover

Same here. I just got the stern skirt and side skirts to prevent UV oxidation. Are yours made by Carver?

I purchased from BoatCoversDirect and I'm thinking it is a Carver but not entirely sure. I got the Sunbrella material. Easy to put on and offers great UV protection

Yep. Mine came from BoatCoversDirect as well. Made by Carver.

Did you purchase the Universal Stern Skirt?

I’m looking around the site and that is all I see.

Thanks for the great suggestions...glad to see there are plenty here that want to keep the gellcoat out of sunlight as much as possible.

I am looking into purchasing a cover from Evolution but they only have a pattern for a G23 swim deck. Anyone know if the G21 and G23 have the same swim deck?

You are installing the platform cover wrong. You have to cover the two edges closest to the boat first. Then, wrap over the other two edges. Much easier that way

They are still a pain regardless of how you put them on . If you don’t intend to trailer your boat , the stern skirt is the way to go plus it provides much more UV protection to the stern of the boat vs the lame stock platform covers

Agreed. I have the platform cover but only use it in the winter. The whole point here is to keep the sun off the boat. Skirts are the way to go....
