Z5 Bimini Questions

I am looking for some information on the sizing for the Z5 Bimini. I tried the manufacturer, but as others have mentioned, they don't have any information because it is no longer in production. I am looking to buy one from a 2015 G23 and put it on a 2012 230 with the FCT5. I doubt it is the same bimini or that it will bolt right up, but do you think it would fit between the tower and just take getting new mounts getting made? I would like to just pull the trigger, but don't want to have a sail sitting in my garage that I cannot use...

I had a similar question on a FCT3 and perhaps my experience will help. I had been told that the Z5 is boat specific so after a lot of searching I finally found one but it was coming off a FCT3 on a 200. After getting a bunch of measurements on this site from someone with a 230 for comparison I pulled the trigger and had the Z5 shipped 1000 miles to me. It fit and performs perfectly. The width was within 1/2" and the length about 2" longer. It turned out perfect andI could not be happier. The sliding connectors which allow the width to adjust which makes the FCT3 adaptable to many situations. In fact, as many Florida boats, I run my bimini a little lower at 5'-9" for maximum shade at the cost of head room.

It was a little work to get all the measurements but there is where the answer lies.
