Finally ditched the old, terrible factory cover for my '03 and had my local canvas guy make me a new one. It's a single piece bow to stern, goes over the bow and snaps around just above the rub rail, because it rubs on a dock all day every day. Couldn't bring myself to go over the swim deck because I know I'd end up in the lake trying to cover it. But I did already have a row of snaps just under the rub rail, so I had a side piece made up for the side that faces the sun most of the day. It's visibly faded more on that side just a year out from being buffed and waxed (I know I should wax it every spring but... life). This should keep it looking good for many years to come.
That blue color sure looks good but man, it fades. This thing cost a pretty penny but it'll be well worth it in the long run. I love a good cover, and I'm very happy.
