Looks like an old Rankin cover . Company no longer exists and I believe the the spin off closed as well (Brent at coversports http://www.coversports.net/store/c1/..._Products.html ). Either way it’s for sure one of those two. The material is Sunbrella tweed. It’s one of the few towable covers and is an awesome design .

      Thanks for the reply!

It could very well be an old Rankin cover...it's a rear cinch type and I understand Rankin did this. I believe Craftcover has assumed that design and you can get details here - https://craftcovers.com/

Not sure it's sunbrella...it's a more tweedy like fabric and feels different from my prior subrella material. Not sure if Sunbrella comes in different finishes? My last sunbrella cover felt more like a poly canvas and this - like I said - feels more course. Now that being said, I have a home deck umbrella that's supposed to be sunbrella it's fabric does feel more like the boat cover.

Every Rankin cover I have seen had a Rankin patch on the end. My guess is that is an Evolution Cover. Evolution is local to Bellevue and still makes covers and they resemble Rankin. I think Evolution makes them better than Rankin did. That does not look like Sunbrella texture.

Now that's interesting...never even heard of these guys and as you say - they are right here in Bellevue. I'll have to reach out to them and see what they say. Craftcover is also close - Everett based.

That really looks like the material a local place uses. But your across the country so idk. Looks like their work too. Federal seat cover in Brookfield. Just droped my boat off for a new cover.

Being Evolution is in your back yard it could be one of Cory’s . If I remember correctly both Cory and Brent worked at Rankin . I believe when Rankin has the hiccup Brent grabbed the Nautique patterns and Corey was primarily a Malibu cover guy. Either way all 3 covers are pretty close to the same style.

The Sunbrella tweed pattern has a completely different look and feel than the standard Sunbrella . It’s much more textile/texturized and comes in multiple shades .

So the guys at Evolution say this is a CraftCover and I think the post above answers the fabric material question.

Interesting bit of history on Rankin and the split of the patterns between Brent and Cory.

Thanks everyone on helping me get to the bottom of this!
