Question about the mooring cover

Hi All,

Have an 18 230 and I've had the boat for less than a year... I am kinda anal about things like this, but the Nautique letters are just flaking off. This might be a ridiculous question, but is this something that is covered under warranty? I'm one that would gladly flaunt the Nautique name on the cover.. but now with it half flaking off.. it just looks sad. Every time I even move the cover much more of the white lettering powders off, so would say by the end of the season the A and the U will be completely gone with the other letters close behind.

I think you’re hosed unless you’ve got some good canvas paint and a steady hand.

Or fork out $1000ish for a new cover. Mine looks the same.

Nope you are screwed . Happened to my cover exactly . Nautique states they will not cover the wearing away of logos on covers . Lame excuse for only having the covers several years . Bend over and take another SIr , LOL

Unfortunately I agree, they probably aren’t going to cover that under warranty.

Yup that’s what I figured. I’ve got a wear tear in my bikini cover as well. I took that off only a few times :/.

I have a ‘16 210 SAN and my cover letters have done the same thing. Other than that the cover is fine.

I agree you are anal.

Let me know when you decide to sell. My guess is that I will be getting a well maintained used boat.
