I am replacing my cover for my 2003 Sport Nautique 216 w/ tower. Does anyone have any pictures of their cover they bought from Coversports showing a cover that covers the swim platform. I am considering purchasing one from either Nautique Parts, Coversports or Angola. I have seen pictures of Coversports covers but none of them cover the swim platform and I want to see if I can see how they handle the platform and tightening straps. I want to cover the back of the boat as well as the platform.

My buddy just had a 206 cover sewn by Brent at https://coversourceinternational.com/ He got the separate swimstep cover. I can get some photos if you're interested.
To be clear - it's a two piece setup; boat cover and swim step cover.2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)

The whole design of cover sports covers are such that they will not cover the platform. Brent will make a separate cover that covers the platform2006 SV 211 (Sold)

Silent Seven and MTRBTR - Thanks for the input on the Cover Sports Cover on the platform cover. Bought a 216 Sport in May and the cover doesn't cover the deck. Looking to upgrade my cover. Like the Cover Sports cover and how it fits.
Silent Seven - can you ask your buddy if he can snap a pic of his platform cover. I know I can buy a cover for the platform the only cover the deck, but what I am more interested in is protecting the gel coat for the back of my boat from the sun (for a portion of the day) in my covered storage slot at my marina.

I've always liked the Coversports covers for their fit but have also always had reservations on buying one for my boats due to coverage, or lack there of. To me, my personal opinion here as talking covers can be as bad as talking oil, they're great if you really don't need a cover for protection but more of a travel cover or dust cover.
So what do I mean by this? If you're looking at one of these covers then you're probably are keeping your boat in the garage or under a well covered lift or you're not concerned about UV. I went to a waterline cover that went around the platform as well on my last boat and did the same for this boat too. The difference was stark. Before going this direction my transom got baked, my teak platform was a mess in a couple weeks after refinishing and I had fading on the port side of the boat that took considerable effort to restore a couple times a season. While the waterline cover isn't nearly as sexy but I'll trade that for function and less maintenance any day. I've been using skiboatcovers.com for the last 3 covers I've purchased an would highly recommend them.
Now if you're looking for a great fitting garage cover or looking to tow with a cover, you'd be hard pressed to find a better cover than a Cover Sports cover. Based on the one of the core features of their design I'm struggling to see how a one piece, over the transom cover would work. Not seeing anything like that on their website either.

That said, I'll see if I can get a picture sometime this weekend....not sure if that's possible...we'll see.
Edit: BTW, the cover itself is great. I also have a decade old (estimated) coversport cover that came with my 206 and it's still going strong. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to get one of his covers. It's just you have to decide of course is it's the type of cover you want.

I added a transom cover and waterline skirts to my cover sports cover . My local shops did the additions. The waterline skirts zip off , as does the transom portion. Obviously I don’t to with the skirts , but I do tow with the transom / swim platform addition.

All. Thanks for the input on the Cover Sports cover. It will be helpful when I email Brent about his deck cover. Since I store my boat under a shelter I only want to keep the few hours of afternoon sun off my swim deck and back transom. Appreciate all the info from your experiences with the Cover Sport cover.

Hi / was finally able to get some pictures of my friends Coversports setup. Brent fully admitted the side skirts were an experiment and was something he was developing.

Few notes....
Side skirt hooks on the bow and wraps around the transom above and below the swimstep. There are no snaps used, it's all wrap and cinch. It's kinda tricky to put on while on the lift...prolly much simpler when you do it on a trailer. My friend's comment is that two things would help with the skirt - 1) a snapclip to attach it to the bow ring and 2) a cross strap just behind the windshield to hold the sides up while you work the back.
