Everyone that uses your cover frequently......what do you do or have done to keep the cover from causing the rear locker skins/vinyl from getting mold/mildew on it bad.
On my G23, every time I put my cover on my boat and it stays on it more than a couple weeks, or sometimes just a few days depending on the weather and/or dampness/moisture in the air. When I take it off, the rear locker skins are covered in mold/mildew. I'm pretty sure it's because that part of the cover rests directly on the rear locker skins and it doesn't allow for proper "ventilation and/or drying" between the cover and vinyl. The rest of the interior always stays in pretty good condition, even during the winter lay-up.
The boat is stored inside a metal building where just the front of the building is open. So it's kept out of any direct exposure to the elements. So I keep the cover on it most of the time to keep dust, dirt, and anything else that might get inside the building off the boat.
It's a PITA to have to clean those skins every time I take the cover off to get ready to go to the lake.
I've tried cleaning the cover on both sides with a power washer and cleaning solutions and then "sealing/waterproofing" the cover in that area and it still happens.
Can anyone share if you have the same problem and what you have done to "fix" it.
Thanks for any input.
