I’m beginning to think about the cover for my 96 Sport project. I have a few questions:
1) Chris and others have suggested getting cover from NP.com and having local shop customize tower holes. I like this idea...the NP cover is a great deal even with Sunbrella upgrade compared to what I can get custom here in Canada. But how does a ratcheting cover work with towers?
2) since the 93-96 Sports don’t have rubrail a that enclose at the transom, I want to get the cover with swim platform integration for a good fit. But that leans the cover is partially touching water at the platform (no...I don’t have a lift at our dock). How does that impact life of the cover?
I really don’t want to install snaps on the hull (what all custom shops here insist I do to “do it right). Only way I would consider this is to. Install them under the rubrail on the hull. Thoughts?
