Cover rope connectors? Need something better :-)

    Hi all,
I have these goofy clips and I have on the original cover. I’m going to replace the string with para cord so it won’t stick to my (newer) Velcro.

I can’t seem to come up with a modern version also that wouldn’t ding the boat like these metal clips.

Just some kind of adjustable clip that I can pull tension into when I put the cover together. Assuming I use rope / paracord.

If you need something custom you can try their site directly with different options based on the hood you want and diameter of the rope.

Add rope and tie off with a easy to untie knot?

Those rope ratchets mentioned above are great. They make a sleeve to then Velcro around the ratchet so it doesn’t ding the fiberglass. Used them for years with no damage
