Thinking of swapping Bimini tops for this one.

The Bimini pictured laying on the lawn is for sale in my area. It has a rip in it but for the right price I think I can get it fixed.

This appears to be a very nice Bimini and I like it better than the one I have now (also pictured on the black/blue/white SANTE210). That one is a sew long.

Anyone know the Bimini brand/name I'm looking at? I'd like to do some research on it.

Also, will it fit my tower? I've uploaded a not very good picture of the boat it was on but it's hard to see the tower. If you zoom in close, I'm pretty sure they're the same tower. Only difference is one is on a G25 and the other is on a SANTE210.

Also, will this one rattle a lot or are these pretty good (the new one).

Its a Z5 Cargo Rack I believe. You would have to measure to see if it fits.

Those are a Z5 , I wouldn’t recommend it though. They are super sturdy but they hang low below the tower, even my 5’3” tall wife smacks her head on it all the time.

The towers are almost identical, it should fit. You may need to slightly mod the arms to get it to fit. I agree with the others who said the z5 hangs lower than the Sewlong bimini currently on you boat. What do you like better about the Z5?

I like the look of the Z5 better than the sawlog. My main complain on the sew long is it angles in the back just above the speakers so when it angles it's slightly covering the speakers, making me think the sound coming it has to be slightly muffled.

I don't want the Z5 though if it hangs low. I'll get an earful from my wife if she, the kids and our friends are hitting their heads on it.

I'll stick with the sew long and may end up getting the Nautique OEM Bimini at a later date if one becomes available at a discounted price.

Thanks for all your comments. They've been very helpful.

Did you end up staying with the SewLong one?

I have an 09 230 and I adjusted my z5 as high as possible. It's tight coming down the walkway making you duck a little but under is room for a 6 foot person no problem. The trade off is the higher the bimini the more sun exposure and I get plenty of sun if Florida so I opt to go with a low rider.
