The attached photos show debris left behind when the mooring cover is removed. The bits are generally less than a sixteen long.
I purchased the boat & cover last year and do not know the cover's vintage. The seller told me the cloth is Sunbrella, but there are no tags on the top to confirm either the fabric or the manufacturer. The cover still water resistant, so I am hesitant to write it off and spend the $ to purchase a new one. I'm seeking opinions as to whether the cover is shot or is there a coating that could be sprayed on the underside to stop the debris.
