    Bimini Top for Southwind

This is an old thread I know, but I'm a new user here and didn't see how I could create a new post under the sub topics. This seemed like the most relavent I could find. Anyhow, I also have a 1982 Southwind 19, and wondered if anyone has a top for it they don't want/need, or have specifications to have one made (or a place that can make them)? I've attached a picture of the original style top. It seems CC doesn't have any info on it anymore. Thanks

I believe that style Bimini was called a convertible or camper style top. I did some quick googling and something like this might work for you if the dimensions are close. Looks like this would snap to the windsheild like in the picture you provided.

You might try correctcraftfan.com. They have a lot of good info on the older boats

I am not recommending this place just came across it by googling. Those type of tops were called Navy tops. The windshield uses these snaps in this picture. https://jeanscanvas.com/navy-and-convertible-tops.html

I have had a lot of success dealing with Amish that do that type work. It appears you are not far from the Amish community in Indiana. You may want to check into that option.
            Ski on dude!
