    Extended Tow Pylon / Skylon

I've just bought a 95 SN that came with a Skylon tow pole extension. Wakeboarding friends would like me to refit this, but it appears that previous use may have already damaged the factory tow pylon. Can anyone tell me if the original pylon was dead straight or had a slight bend on the fore and aft axis - 5 to 10 degrees - around 6" above floor level?
I know CC sold a short extended pylon for this boat, but mine is a two piece "fatsack" type which raises the rope some 6' above floor level, way higher than the CC version.
Is there anything else I should watch out for if I use the extended pylon for towing boarders?
    Thanks in advance.

That is how my 85 nautique was from the factory but my 93 sport nautique is straight. Just make sure the support strap for the pylon is snug.

I found 3 95s on the correctcraftfan that all look to have a bent pylon.
