Options for Tower Mounted Ski Racks

Now that we have our new 216....we are going to start looking for a tower mounted ski rack. We are losing the floor ski storage from our 99. The board racks we have are the spinner racks....but we are thinking that another tower mounted rack would be good for the skis.

I have found that there are several to choose from, but I am having a hard time finding out if these are the only choices and finding testimonies regarding these various types. I did a search on this site and found some stuff....but, most seemed dated. And, I am not a great one at searching this site.

I had one person tell me that the Skylon racks were pretty good. But I would like to hear something about the others. Here is what I have found so far:

    Monster - ~$200
    DIY - ~$300
    Titan - ~$380
    Skylon - ~$300-$340 (type)

I would like to know more about the Monster racks since they are the cheapest....by a lot.

    Any input would be welcomed.

Yea...I figured that the Titan's would be awesome.....the price reflects that a bit. Anybody else got any feedback?

I saw i new removeable one at the Seattle boat show for CCs. I think it was a Titan. It had a basic mount on the tower and any optional rack could be 'snapped' on it in a few seconds. Sturdy/Strong and easy to use. I was impressed and have one ordered for a ski rack. I'll see if I can get a picture from the dealer this week.

I have the Monster and it works fine. I do not use it that often so the quick disconnect feature is great for my needs. I also have a third board rack from monster but I have just been strapping extra boards on top recently.

I am not sure if you are still looking for a ski rack but I have purchased a ski, wake board and knee board Rack, along with a 3-lens mirror. The prices are cheaper than Titan but the quality is just as good if not better in my opinion. There are a few of us here in Washington that have purchases their equipment and we are all very happy with their work. I have spoke to some others I have seen on the water that have had their racks installed and I hear the same comments (none of them were Nautiques, just various different boats), I was just curious on their opinions.

I am not sure if my attachment went through, but the mirror in the picture is not the 3-lens mirror, that is the one that came with my boat. I picked the mirror up later.
