I have been wakeboarding for about 8 years. I would like to become a little more up to date on slalom. Where do you go to purchase a good slalom ski. What shape and length. I am 6' tall and 200 lbs. I know how to ski pretty well. Just need nicer equipment. NO Stretch wakeboard rope is not working for skiing.

RE: slalom ski
Always a good idea to find a pro shop that can help you find what you looking for....or find someone that has some history and can take a look at you while you are skiing. Then give you some advice. Otherwise, there are a ton of variables.88 Ski Nautique

RE: slalom ski
The guys at H2osmosis.com will treat you very well, you can demo any equipment for a small fee. You could also run over to Overtons in Greenville or Raleighwood and see what they have.
I would recomend a nice masterline candy stripe rope and handle and at least a 68 ski if your skiing at 34 mph or 69 or 70 if you like to ride slower.2005 Ski Nautique 206 SE, Acme 422, PP SG 8.0, ND Tower

RE: slalom ski
There are a bunch of very good mid level and high end skis out now. I too highly recommend H2Osmosis. For a $400 deposit, they'll send you as many skis as you want to try one after the other. With your size I'd definitely look at the 69s that are out there. The mid to advanced skis that I'd look at are the Radar Senate, Radar Annex, Obrien Allegience, and Connelly F1X. For a true high end, look at the Radar RS1, Obrien Sixam SS or 2.0, Connelly Prophecy or F1, and HO A1.Shane Hill
