Z5 Sport Racks out of business ?

I was interested in getting a Z5 cargo rack and bimini, but they appear to be out of business. Does anyone know what happened?

I doubt they're out of business. Their racks are factory options on most 2009 Correct Craft boats with towers. I had one this year on my 2008 230, and it was absolutely great.

Maybe they just want to be a stealth company. Their website says they'll be up by March 2005, nobody answers phones or returns phone or email messages from this contact info.

I spoke with Derek today for quite sometime, he seems to be a great guy. What he filled me in on was that the Z5 rack is currently available for the flight control tower for the 230/236 as well as the all of the new Flight control 3 tower made by roswell (the one with all of the rave reviews). They do not offer the rack for anyother towers yet because they need to figure on the demand and if it will be worthwhile. Best bet is to contact your local dealer, at the principles meeting a few months ago this was discussed and information was supposed to be made available. The more you push the dealers the more they will push CC which will eventually lead to racks for all tower options. We didn't discuss pricing, Jeff if you don' mind me asking about how much was yours?

They cost about 3k for the fct3.

Look at the cost of spinner racks and a bimini. About the same price for the Z5 which is very versatile for shade and storing more than just wakeboards. This product is very high quality. When I compare it to the bimini I had on my 2003 226, it is head and shoulders above it. I think it looks very nice on the FCT1.
