Boat Cover Support

The cover for my new 220 fits a little more loose than the one for my 211. Last night, even with a support pole in place, the cover captured about 100 gallons of rainwater. Obviously, indoor storage would be ideal, but is not possible at this time.

A friend of mine suggested building a support with PVC that would support the cover from the top of the windshield to the engine compartment.

Has anyone built something like this?

Does anyone market something like this?

I have a PCV homemade support that goes between my engine box and back seat of my sport (direct drive). Works quite well. The previous owner made it. Give it a shot
