    Bimini

We are considering trading in for a 2008 210. I will likely put a bimini on this boat. I see that there have been a few gruop buys in the past. I have a few questions.

Our boat will be Black Onyx bottom stripe with a Thermal Yellow top stripe with the standard FCT.

Does the yellow of the fabric match these colours well?

Can you choose either a below tower or above tower bimini?

    Which one gives more shade?

Can you stand up under the below tower bimini?

Is everyone happy with the product quality?

How can you specify the AirNautque star symbol?

Will there be a gruop buy this winter?

    RE: Bimini

Go with black, the yellow does not block the sun as well. Same applies to boat covers, stay with the dark colors to block out the most UV.

Another vote for black. My first boat had a yellow bimini and it didn't block the sun very well. I have also had a blue one, which worked better, but the black one I have now seems to work the best.

We have an all yellow boat with a white stripe and went with black w/Gray,white and yellow Nautique Logo. You can see an example in the thread "new bimini" under the "show us your nautique" forum.
        1. I would reccomend black, but yellow does match good.
        2. You should be able to chose above or below tower.
        3. Below will give more shade. We cannot stand below our under tower bimini, it is a 226 which has a lower tower, but I would suspect that this is the case on all towers.
        4. We a very happy with product quality so far, it is one year old.
        5. There was once an order form with the Nautique logo on it on this site, which is where we got ours from. There is not an option for this on towerbiminis website when ordering. I called them when we ordered and they were very helpful.
6.There have been group buys the last two years so there may be if others get interested

So we ended up trading in our 216 for a 2008 210 with a FCT.

Now to decide what to do in the spring for a Bimini top.

Can people post pictures here of there above and below Tower Biminis. I have to get a feel for headroom and coverage to decide whick way to go.

It's an 07 211, but here's a pretty clean pic of an over the tower bimini. As for head room, I'm 6'5" and it works great for me.

What I would like to see is an under the tower FCT model with someone standing in the boat to see headroom.

I can't help right now with a picture, but I'm 6'5" and I barely clear the tower itself, so anything lower is not acceptable.

That handsome guy in the orange shirt is the owner of that beautiful yellow 206.

He is 5' 8' and frequently knocks his head...especially at the front.

White does block the direct sun...but a darker color would be better. I may change to yellow next year....for looks.

                          It is a towerbimini.
