    HO System 8 opinions?

Any opinions on the System 8? I was thinking of picking one up to replace my HO Truth, and figured that I'd ask the question before dropping the coin on it.

    Also, what size should I get? I'm 6', 165 and ski between 32 - 34.

    Thanks

Friend just picked one up and loves it. he ran his season best on his second run (28 @ 36mph). His former ski was an F1.

I have a 2006 HO System 8 68", I love the ski. I am 6'1" and about 175-180. It is the best ski that I have ever used. I was able to purchase it used for $175 w/ Bindings. I would recommend it to anyone the loves to ski.

For the speed that you are running, you may want to look at the Nitro. I picked one up this year and love it. Same shape as Monza/S8, but a little larger. I got it for a great price at hoskishop.com

I bought a system 8 this year and I'm really liking it.
I'm not a hard core course skier, I mostly free ski and every once in a while try the course.
I demoed many skis. I was coming from a very old HO ski, which I still like.
Because I'm getting older (43) and not really a serious course skier, I thought I should try the wider, less performance oriented skis. I demoed the HO Triumph and the Nitro. The Triumph was just way to sluggish for me, it just didn't respond. The Nitro was definitely better, but still didn't respond as well as my 20 year old HO. The system 8 is nice, responds when I want and can hold an edge. I also went to double boots for the first time and it took a little getting used to, but now I really like it.
          I ski at 32mph at 15 off.

I also tried Radar skis becasue that's what my local dealer had. I tried the Theory and the Senate. These are supposed to be comparable to the Triumph and Nitro. I did not like these skis at all. They were completely unresponsive for me. I just must have a style that doesn't fit those skis. Their boots are interesting, but the skis were not.
