I ride an oneil gooru shirt. This Saturday the water temp was 61 and the air temp was 72. The initial plunge was a bit rough, but one you get up and wreck, everything is fine. The boys got a little cold as they were not protected by anything besides boardshorts. Mind over matter, the water is glass, who cares how cold you get. I did buy a billabong revolution 202 spring suit with long sleeves. The boys can't wait. Who says it doesn't get cold in AZ?

      Baggy dry suit

I use a baggy type drysuit from OS Systems. I am on a waterski team in Portland, Oregon. Full disclosure:OS Systems is one of our sponsors.
I like the drysuit because of its versitlity. When it is really cold, for that New Years Day waterski, put lots of overlapping layers on underneath it, and you stay warm. In the late spring, only one thin layer, and it works for that.
O'neill makes a neoprene cap, that looks goofy, but it really helps keep your head warm.
I have found that if you keep your core body warm, to hot, your body is trying to get rid of heat by pumping more blood out to your extremities. This helps keep your hands, feet, and head warmer.
