Cool Garage Storage for Skis, Wakeboards & Other Gear

Looking for great ideas, pics and discussion on cool ways to store skis, wakeboards and other gear in the garage. I'm swimming in gear and need solutions...!

Some pics of the "Man Cave" as my wife refers to it. All must haves - TV w/ DVD, numerous ski flicks, fridge w/ assorted beverages and of course, organized storage.

I do it the same way as 2004. Just use longer shelf brackets for wakeboards. It looks like 2004 used pool noodles as
padding. I just use pipe insulation which is cheap at the hardware store. BKH

Yep, used noodles, just go to the dollar store (or similar), they sell noodles for .99, they're 5 or 6' long so one noodle does several racks. Noodles were cheaper than pipe insulation

Ya, guilty, tube and a jet ski. You know on a public lake you hit the course at 6am and then tube and jet ski with the "Bayliners" in the afternoons or sit on the dock and watch. But, I do not own a wakeboard! (Sorry wakeboarders)

I have the same setup as BKH.I also picked up a pair of adjustable "T" style brackets that hang upside down from the ceiling that you can store boards on if you run out of wall space.

Nice ideas. Especially like the use of those noodles. That's one way to store noodles....!! Keep 'em coming.

Why isn't this thread in "Gear & Related Items" ?

The junker skis are packed above the boat in the garage. Boards, slalom and jumpers in the house, not enough room in the garage.

                            I have a similar setup to 2004196

Rubbermade shelf rails and brackets, 1" rubber pipe insulation, and black tape. Hadn't finished it yet but it works very well and can be done for $50.

I mounted it on the wall directly behind my boat so i can hang boards while standing on the platform.
