    Airtool,
Prestige trailer with bunks. Nice trailer. The only gripe I have is with the roller position. Would like to see this trailer have a small "V-bunk" up under the roller to saddle the keel in the front of the bow as it comes against the roller. That would make it perfect.
    Peace..

My Ramlin has a nice and wide teflon? poly-pro? v-bunk to catch the keel and is very handy. You could probably retro yours with some clamps. I can post some pics if you want.

Also, what tow vehicle do you have and can you see over the boat through the mirror?

Nice advice on the "v-bunk"...thanks. Currently towing with an '07 tacoma pre-runner, 4-door short bed. I had to put a set of Super Springs on the rear to keep the truck level and hitch at 18". At this hitch height, I can see through the boat wind-shield...just barely across the top of the motor box. Can't quite see the rear trunk pad(s) behind the motor box. Additionally, I had to adjust the front bow stop/roller position a couple inches back from factory to give me a little lighter tongue weight. This helped to level both the truck and the trailer. Took some playing around, but now pretty nice set-up...pulls well and can load 'er down like the beverly hillbillys and not worry about too much sag.

I see in your avatar a boat with same colors as mine?? Perhaps a 206 with tower? How do you like your Ramlin and how are you set up for towing?
        Peace..

Yep, 206 with tower. See pic with tow rig. I usually don't travel with the cover on.

I hear you on the tongue weight. I weighed mine and it was between 450 and 500. That makes a nice ride but forget lifting the tongue by hand. The Tahoe is the last of the 2-doors. In that truck and my wife's Navigator, I can see over the engine box and can back up nicely w/o worrying about smacking someone.

The Ramlin quality is untouchable. I don't, however, like how the boat rocks on the wishbone and has to be pulled down with the turnbuckle. The slop in the swing hitch makes it worse. Next time, I'm getting bunks and a probably a fixed tongue. If I towed long distances more than once or twice a year, I'd sell it today and buy me something I liked better. I only tow three miles to the lake and next year I'll live there.
