    Vest for 2-3 year old???

    Need your opinion. I have a 2 year old and need to get her a new life jacket. Let me know your thoughts on the two below or if you have others you have found that work well.

    Hyperlite Girl's Child Indy Neo Vest

    Or

    Mustang Survival Integrity™ Kids Vest - Child :: MV3455

    Thanks!

    That Hyperlite will ride up in the back during swimming activities and become very annoying. For dry activities it will be okay.

    The mustang vest looks nice....not sure how it will work for swimming activities.

    Here is what we prefer. The stiffness keeps its shape even when kids are submerged. Wear a rash guard or UV shirt under to keep from getting a rash over a long trip.

    I'm thinking all of these might be too big. When the kids were under 30 we used a kids PFD with the big floaty neck support in the back....not safe for towing.

      I've got two Mustangs, the starting size with the extra flap to roll the infant over on their back and the next one up which I think goes up to 25 - 30 lbs. Sorry I dont have the exact sizes or model numbers but I used these for my granddaughter until she out grew them. I have given them to my neighbor which is currently using them for their two kids, one three and one 1. These are great vests and totally reliable, I would use nothing else if I had to do it again. They show no wear after three kids, are 11 years old and will last through several more kids. Quality is outstanding, comfort to the parent, knowing these will stay on and work is, as they say, priceless. We live on a lake so they are used constantly for all water activities, even when the kids are just playing out in the backyard around the lake for our (parents) peace of mind. They are hard for a toddler to remove so you don't have to worry (too much) about them taking it off or slipping out of it.
