    RECOMENDATIONS FOR SLALOM ROPE?

For handles (and ropes) try "USGEAR"
we had a handle that we flogged for years, it finally gave up. Couldn't find any more over here and weren't happy with any of the others we bought, so we tracked them down and got half dozen sent over. Everybody loves'm.

I used to use some of the above, but pretty much the standard around here now is Brenda In Tow's ropes. Quality and accuracy far exceeds anything else I have seen.

Brenda had some issues a few years back with the rope her mfr provided her but she replaced those ropes for us very quickly. The last two ropes I've bought from her have been within 1/4" of accurate at every line loop.

I've been using StraightLine. Ropes are good...I may wear out a handle after a season or two though.

Wiley's has a Straightline 8 section with a straight tractor handle for $35 plus shipping. Just picked one up and seemed like a good deal to me.

I haven't seen a straighline even close to the right length (long or short at every loop) and the loops are usually too small to get over the pylon.

I used to use Straightline. I noticed that the last one I bought was made in China. Sent it back and now I use Masterline.

Took a straightline to the regionals this year and when they measured it, it was 2" short. Been skiing it all season, imagine how short it was when it was new.
