just thought i'd see if anyone had any input on them.the standard sounds pretty nice from what i've read, but the 2 version sound a little more forgiving...just doesn't turn as quick.anyways just thought i'd see if there was any members ou there that had tried either.thanks

I have a Sixam 1 point and a Sixam SS (1 point). My sister is right foot forward she was using my ski but complaining about the twisted rear foot so I bought another one, that's how I ended up with two.
The Sixam 1 is in my opinion the most forgiving high end ski on the market. Before the Sixam I skied on my Goode when the water was smooth and skied on my HO Burner when it was rough (all open water, I try to avoid the course - too much reality). The Sixam allows me to carry only one ski, it seems almost as fast as the Goode but soaks up the chop so much better. Turning the Sixam it just seems to read my mind.
I ski at 34mph/28off most of the time.

I have skied all of the Sixam series skis. The 2.0 is a great ski. I thought. Now I'm on an Obrien Elite and there is not a better, more forgiving ski on the market. It's expensive, but is rock solid under foot and a rocket ship when needed. It would help the buoy count of someone from 15 off 32 mph up to a world record capable 36mph skier.Shane Hill
