I know most people here have said there are places to get skis where you can try them and send them back, but I'm more looking for advice. I'm 5' 10" and 235 lbs, looking for a slalom ski. I have skied quite a bit before, but not much in the course. Maybe a few times. Looking for something, probably a wide type ski, that I can get up on and get back into it. I wakeboard now, but want to ski it up every now and again.

RE: Slalom Ski
I might suggest the connely FX, or F1x, HO Triumph, or one of my favorites is the Obrian Syncro. Check manufacturers web site for suggested size for your weight and speeds.2005 Ski Nautique 206 SE, Acme 422, PP SG 8.0, ND Tower

RE: Slalom Ski
Agree with all those that NCH2oSki has mentioned. My personal recommendation is the HO Burner....probably for your size Fantastic wide, open water ski, but capable of the course up to 28-off, 34mph. Extremely friendly and covers the widest range of ability that I have ever skied.Peace..

RE: Slalom Ski
I wouldn't hesitate to add the Radar Senate or Senate C to that lineup too. Very, very stable, but also a rocketship when you want it to be. Similar ski to the Triumph, but also available in full carbon(the C version). Both senates are also available in a 69 inch, which is what you need for your weight.Shane Hill

RE: Slalom Ski
Love my O'Brien World Team (mine's 75", but they come shorter). Don't know if the BIG EASY is similar to the BIG DADDY, but I rode a BIG DADDY last November and didn't like it. If possible, definitely borrow one before you purchase.
