Asylum Wake Surf Boards vs. Inland Surfer?

Any comments on Asylum boards? I rec'd an email about the

"asylum Surf Skate ... for riders up to 210 pounds."

They also have "The asylum Mojo Grande ... for riders up to 240 pounds. This board weighs just 5 pounds and is very quick. Now larger riders can experience a high performance skim style board."

My friend has the IS Black Pearl Yellow and my wife rides the orginal Black Pearl.

I was curious if anyone has tried asylum boards and can comment.

I ride the Blue Lake Quad and have been interested in trying the mew Swallow. Thanks.

never tried one, but if you can surf well, you can pretty much ride anything. we had a 250+ riding my 4'8" Comp I this summer. they recommend 175 at the max. im 195 and can shred it.

Prior to being Asylum, they were Trickboardz. I have both the wooden SurfSkate and the glass one. I have the small glass Skate, not the one they are talking about. The glass one is my favorite board in the arsenal. I am ~190 and most definitely exceed the recommended weight of 165lbs for either board. I ride with 1" fins and no pad. Late this season I got a chance to ride a IS MossSkim several times, and loved that board.
I think for the price the Asylum glass skate is a must have. The IS boards are all twice as much.
I still say the best overall board out there for the money is the Liquid Force Custom 4.3, hands down.

I have one of the glass trickboardz. At 195 I can barely keep it in the pocket, not big enough to do any tricks and stay in. My current favorite board is the inland surfer black pearl quad fin, it's a 4'8" board, I don't have any trouble riding and spinning on the board.
