Hard tank change out to bags?

I am wondering if I can change out my hard tanks in my 03 with wedge tanks to my v-drive side sacks and just reroute the plumbing to the sacks without issue. I would really like to recover the space taken up by my tanks and have an easier time with service on the engine. I really dont want to change out my pumps at this time because of many reasons but I have no issue with the system I have in there now. Just want more storage space for now.

i just took out my wedge tanks this winter and put in 750 fat sacs in their place for space and weight. i also replace the cable valves with auto valves. seems to work pretty well and its easy to do. i have a few pics if you need. let me know and l can give you my number. and yes i kept the aerator pumps.

Not a problem with changing them out - lots of threads on people that have done it.

And go big! Put the 750's instead of the wedge sacs.

Agreed. Go with the bigger ones.

The only reason I say I would use the side sacks is because I have them right now. I will evenetually get the 750s, and it will use all the same fittings at that time. I guess I just need to find some adapters that thread in to the sacks. I know you can get them online, but does anybody know if they are a standard thread size? I figured I can just get some sprinkler fittings and adapters for that.

Jonnyboy, I would love to know what you did for auto valves. I have some TH valve replacements I planned on doing this year just to work for the time being for lack of finding a better solution. I found so many mixed answers on what to use I thought I would put these in until I had time to do more research and talk to people.
