Where to get custom length bow safety cable?

Want a cable instead of a chain to prevent damage like my old setup. Does anyone know where to get a custom length bow safety cable for the trailer/boat? I have seen them online but the shortest available looks to be 36". I need one approximately 13" long. Anyone?

i just went to the hardware shop and got cable a coupler and d ring o and a peice of hose/tubing to cover the cable cost = 25-30 bucks about 15min to install

Try West Marine. Last time I was there it looked like they had that stuff and a crimper to make it there for you.
