I strongly recommend the Inland Surfer Red Woody. I have loved everyone of the inland surfers I have owned. Great floatation and great maneuverability with a great flexibility in the learning curve (can use it at almost any skill level).

Thanks for the info on calmarines web sight...soul craft makes some cool looking boards but do you know if that 5' swallow would work well with my weight?

I loved it. I came very very close to buying it. I surfed it last fall at the surf event they put on. I was 250 and it was very easy to surf. One thing about that, it was behind an Enzo or Supreme 226. They have large wake.

The board is very light and fast. I have had a Inland Sufer Red Tide and Swallow. I liked that board better than both. The only reason I don't have that board is because it was not much better than the Calibrated board I have and I was hoping to loose some weight before this summer.

Go to Wake9.com and look at the reviews of all the boats and boards. Two years ago they had a big guy event and everyone was 240lbs plus. It was a great day. Last year they had an event with both boats and boards to demo. There are photos and videos. I am the short fat bald guy.

I just went to Wake9.com and they have a few pictures of me riding that board. If you go to the bottom of the page and I am the first few in number 3. That is the same Soulcraft board.

I was going to post a money shot when this thread started but I didn't want to be accused of thread jacking.

But now that we all know how short fat and bald we are, I can't resist....

check out this (now 43) short fat old bald dude flowsurfing in Singapore. This was my second or third day. It took me about 10 to 15 falls to be able to stay up with the rope, then about 5 more to drop the rope.
