    first time surf board

    hello,

    my family and want to try a surf board this summer. i have a 2005 196 and only have room for one board for all of us to use. me (185) wife (115) and my daughter who is eight. i am only going to buy one board we are just trying for fun, i understand my boat is not the best , but we are skiers. what board should i buy.

    Whatever you get, be sure it's fairly big. The bigger the board, the easier to surf, and the smaller the necessary wake. The downside of big boards is they are harder to do tricks on (when you get to that level).
