are you rocky mountain high? a southern man?

we're seriously gonna get kicked off this site. they're going to block us from accessing planetnautique and all because my mom is a hippie!!! but at least your songs were cool. the john denver quote just makes me look like a loser!
oh! an i think we're in the same town, but i think i'm a little west of the east! although not west enough not to get drench by arlene! lets see how many more hurricanes can pass over my house this summer! maybe we'll get 4 this year instead of 3!
i'm just bitter because my roof is STILL leaking after we got it fixed waiting for the insurance company to approve a $42,000 roof. i would much rather fix my boat than have to fix my roof! i should just take the money and run! Yellow_Flash_Colorz: it must be past my bed time, i'm getting punchy!

ray, maybe we should just start a "old toads" link so Jeff & Luke will let us stay on. And, it will serve as a warning to all the youngin's, they'll know they don't want to get on.

ouch on the roof! i finally got mine fixed 3 weeks ago & now the season is back. not sure if it would have been crooked to keep the 1st check & wait through this season. best to error on the side of honor i always taught my boys.
i was sitting in my recliner when the house shook. neighbor's tree rocketed onto the top, BUT no holes. just had to clean the chair! for awhile there, kind of like our weather today, i didn't know
      who'll stop the rain

i hear ya! we lost 5 oak trees that were planted when the house was built in 1925! now, how old do you have to be to be in the old toads club? is membership open to the yungins'? the bagboy at the grocery told me he thought i was 70 yesterday. i think that might be why he is a bag boy. we still have our check for $900 to replace our roof. I DON'T THINK SO!!!

The OTC (old toads club) is a good name. 40 sounds kinda young. I am 50, going on 51 this Aug. Still love to throw a zone defense on the teens who never learned it (when we put on corporate sponsored game night).
On a flight yesterday I got up to let a young couple into their seats. They responded, "Thank you SIR." That one really makes me feel ancient. Got my 1st "Sir" @ the age of 48 in a grocery store, i never forgot it.
Did the latest Hurricane (name?) miss you? After the hurricanes, my job balloons. OF

BTW everyone, heard that the concerns (& the link w/ STRONG concerns) got into CC's corporate office. Apparently all the way to the (Mc)new prez. Imagine from a business since they'll need to decide what will be the emphasis, w/ all the management changes in the last 4 years.

ok. the part that i was really offended about the kid who said i was 70? i was trying to buy wine to put in my spaghetti and clams. the checked said he was going to need to see my id. i told him it was in my car and asked him if i would be saving for my daughters' college(publix donates money to an account if you use a upromise card) if i was under 21. he said sorry ma'am ( Yellow_Flash_Colorz: ) but i'm going to need to see your id. i told him to call the manager. the manager comes up and i tell him the scoop and he says how old are you? i tell him 35, he looks politely shocked (but in the back of his mind i could tell he was thinking "yeah, i see the signs!") and the bag boy goes "i thought she was 70." that's when i told him that there are 2 things that you never joke with a woman about... her weight and her age. i was pissed. oh well. that is why he is 30, single and knows not to bag the chicken with the beans.
as for arlene, we got the rain (in my living room, i refuse to keep the **** blue tarp on my roof) but luckily missed the storm. i have family in p'cola and they were grumbling about the rain, but were so thankful that it didn't intensify before it hit land like they were predicting. we got a new generator, though! wish it was a new roof!
oh, well, you know what they say...

you can't always get what you want!

since the ofc is always losing members, it has an open door membership policy. our philosophy - losing our memory isn't so bad, we meet new friends every day.

I spoke with the person that is responsible for getting things loaded on the nautique gear site. (Met her at the CC reunion in OH)
Apparently the problem is the shopping cart software that is used on the site is not very admin user friendly. The software is outdated and support from the software vendor is minimal. They are looking at what to do to replace the shopping cart to make it easier to get the stuff on the site.

She said that they have more things to put on the site but the software is so clunky they can't get it updated.

                          OH PUH-LEEEEZ!
give me a break! "uh, yeah! i put the dog poop on the bottom of my shoe for shock absorbency. back in the day i blew out my knee and, well, the dog poop really helps!"
i've can make excuses with the best of them, but they are missing out on a HUGE market! if they had some cool stuff, people would buy the heck out of it!
shopping cart! don't they have an advertising agency? any agency worth their beans would be able to fix that no problem.

I hate to be critical, but am I the only one who thinks nautiquegear.com stinks!?

                            The selection is sad…

I also have issues with the way items are posted… I was glad to see some new towels listed, but unfortunately no one bothered to include the measurements in the description. I’m a big guy (6’5”) and most normal beach towels are too small for me. I want to know what I’m ordering… I don’t want to order one and end up with a wash cloth!

Seriously, take a look at the SeaRay web site and see what they offer for gear…

They have everything from Beach Balls to Umbrellas. Okay, the crystal decanter set is a little over the top, but I suppose if you can afford one of their yachts you might want one of those.

I agree with raygunclan… Correct Craft is really missing out… Never mind whatever sales revenue they’d make, they’re missing out on free marketing as well. Give us a good selection of gear (shirts, towels, hats, decals, etc.) and we’ll be out promoting the Nautique brand.

Someone at CC should look at the previous post on this site about what we’d like to see Nautiquegear offer!

                            Just my 2 cents…

Hope everyone has a great day!

the only thing i EVER see promoting correct craft is stickers for your car. i've never seen a towel, i don't think i've ever even seen anyone wearing a correct craft t-shirt! hats, koozie cups, t-shirts, keychains, there is an unlimited amount of chatchki crap out there that they could be slappin' their logo on and making a fortune. oh, well. maybe i'll do it myself. a sharpie, a stencil and a t-shirt and i'm ready to go! i'll even write your name on the bottom in case you go to camp!
