The ORIGINAL FlyBoy Wakesurf is NO LONGER for sale. The recent acquisition of FlyBoy Wakesurf boards by Inland Surfer has required that we halt production and sales of our product. However, The FlyBoy Division of Inland Surfer is taking pre-orders for the 2011 James Walker Signature model. You can pre-order this board from the retailers listed below, or contact Inland Surfer’s Sales line directly to fine the retailer nearest you.

Check With California Marine sports they might have something hanging around. I think TWP is now calling it the Signature Model and it is a different board than the FlyBoy. It was what James rode before the Flyboy board.

James Walker is NOT the Walker from The Walker Project (TWP). He did ride for them and the board or the style he rode was The James Walker Signature Edition or something like that. A few years ago James started his own Wakesurf company called Flyboy. Red board custom made. Flyboy was then purchased by Inland Surfer and they now produce the Flyboy. The board produced by Inland should be out soon but I have not seen it. It should be a great board but I am not sure it will be as good as the custom made Flyboy. Those that have those boards have great boards. James has been riding a custom made board the last few months that is a wood composite. Not the Inland board.
The Walker Project still makes great boards but the custom Flyboy was nicer than the board they made for James. TWP has taken his name off the board they make and now call it just the Signature Model.

@HS yes that looks like the original James Walker Signature Edition. They made it different sizes at one time. I road a 5'3" version and it was great. It worked well for a guy 250lbs.
@Johnny7 I am not sure where you could get one. I do think the original Flyboy will be better than the mass produced one but I am not sure why. The prototype is due any day at James Walkers and who knows when the production models will be in stores. They may be great. I think James has turned down a few prototypes so he is trying to get a good board. Flyboy has a blog site where you can check it out. I think it is written by Jame's Dad but as if it were James. His Dad is always trying something new to improve wakesurf boards.

@HS, yes the link is to the original Signature Model. I have one and it's a blast to ride, rail to rail generates speed. Workout to ride the board. Not a cuiser board. Very weight sensitive and if buying used, make sure it's for your weight range.
The new flyboys should be arriving in a week or so. Some people have a few before inland surfer merged and took over production. I know a few that have them and nobody will part with one. The one person upgraded from the orginal Signature Model and said it's well worth the upgrade to a FlyBoy. I'm waiting to test ride and see if I want to upgrade.
