Advice on which Fat Sac to get for 2011 SAN 210

Recently purchased my first Wakeboard boat and looking for advice on which Fat Sac to get. My main concern is for surfing, I think the Wakeboard wake is fine for now as my kids are young and my wife says I am too old to be jumping and flipping etc. Most of the time will only be me and my 120 lb wife and 9 and 4 year old kids in the boat, so I cant rely on extra folks for ballast. I am thinking I should get the set of V-drive Sacs that are 400 lbs each over the ones made to fit the Nautique that are like 260 lb each. Looking for some input on couple thoughts: 1) 260 lbs Nautique Sacs+ factory ballast isnt quite enough for good surf wake but they would fit nicely in the locker? 2) 400 lb V-drive sac will more than fill up the locker in the rear port side? Any concern for it gettin on/covering part of the battery isolator switch and would this be sufficent for a decent surf wake? I could use the other of the sacs somewhere else in the boat or sell it, thinking I wont be putting it in the starboard locker. I also have plenty of 100lb cast iron tractor weights I could use but I bet that is no fun moving around in the boat. Thanks in advance for input. You guys have already helped me spend plenty of $$ on boat purchase, bimini choice, and Cover Sports cover.

I purchased a 2011 210 te in July and started surfing soon after. It seemed to be difficult with stock ballast so I search some threads on this site and decided on the 750lbs fat sack for the rear port locker. This sack will not fill completely, maybe 650lbs, but makes the wake awesome. It doesn't seem to put to much pressure on the battery switch. I surf with just my son and wife in the boat, about 200lbs combined. The wake is about thigh high with good push and the pocket is roughly 12' long. It has made it way easier to learn. I think now I would be able to surf with stock ballast much better.

      msbowhunter,

I would advise not getting the 400lb v-drive sacs and get a 750 plumbed in the Port locker. You can fit it right on top of the stock tank and it will overflow into the bag. I have a 750 an thinking that next year I will go to a custom enzo sac on the port side, as the crew is light.

First time out with new boat and new to wakeboarding and surfing. Got up surfing first time and was able to free ride second attempt for approx 5 minutes. Then my 9 year old and I tandem surfed holding rope. We had a blast even though the water was little chilly for us. I had approx 600 lbs on top of factory port and belly ballast full. Am I understanding correct that if I add more to bow it will move the surfable pocket further back away from the boat?

750....go bigger than you think you will need or you will be sorry....

We used to surf our 2010 210 w stock + 750 in rear port, 550 across back seat towards port, 550 on port side seat, 1/3 - 3/4 belly tank and some lead in the nose....
