    New Slalom Ski-Triumph or Magnum?

Hey first post! Rookie to the site, excited to be part of the Nautique family and most definately going through the mid life crisis. Trying to get back into skiing. I'm a weekend warrior looking to improve. Consider myself rec intermediate. Been out out of it for a few years, but decided to go for it. Finally got the wife to finally agree to the boat, SV211 (oh yeah), now I just need the ski to go with it. Unfortunately here in Michigan, still a foot of ice on the lake, can't demo. I'm so pumped to get the boat I can't wait to get the perfect ski to go with it. Besides I can return/exchange it up until June. With all that said, I'm between the Magnum and the Triumph. Believe it or not, better deal on the Triumph, but most comments lead me to believe the Magnum is probably more forgiving and a better fit for me. Looking for some of usual great feedback! Thanks!

It would depend on how much you plan on skiing. If you are just going to ski the occasional weekend, go for the magnum. If you plan on skiing a lot and progressing, buy the triumph and grow into it.
You will love your new 211!!!! What colors did you get?

Thanks for the feedback. Regarding frequency, my goal is to attempt at least twice a week. If I don't, I'll never hear the end of it! The boat; team 211 solid red hull, white top, interior white with grey and red accents. When I take delivery in May, I'll post some pic's. Like I said earlier, been waiting 3 years for this, now it's time to enjoy! At my age, can't think of a better way to exercise.

I would say go ahead and get the triumph. There isn't a significant difference between the two other than a couple of the features but as far as bevels, flex, etc are concerned, it isn't too significant.
